About SAK

As Director, Simon has 24 years experience of working in the construction Industry, having worked for many well respected and recognised main contractors such as Interserve, TRJ and Willmott Dixon in a variety of senior management positions.

With a wealth of knowledge and experience working in both pre and post construction – estimating and quantity surveying, managing a variety of schemes and values ranging from £100 to £15 million.

Simon has a broad skill set with a large contact base within the Welsh construction industry, proven people skills and keen to assist in business growth wherever possible, bringing a large database of satisfied subcontractors, contractors and clients with him.

Our experience spans several sectors including new build and refurbishment, residential, commercial, education, health and retail plus WHQS, EWI and maintenance frameworks.

We have a very good working knowledge of all forms of contract, subcontracts and frameworks, enabling us to offer professional advice on many different aspects of the construction process.

University of South Wales

The Atrium Building in Cardiff for the University of South Wales is an example EDUCATION project that Simon worked on as QS.

Quandrant Bus Interchange

This was a landmark development for the City of Swansea. Simon was Commercial Lead on this very difficult TRANSPORT project.

CAPL Tata - Port Talbot

The Continuous Annealing Process Line was a heavy CIVIL ENGINEERING scheme that Simon worked on, based on site as QS.

Barry Island Public Realm

Simon was Commercial Manager on this scheme - a very interesting LEISURE scheme, with many challenges that had to be overcome.
